Association Cecile AHOZEREYE For Childhood and Education» – ACAPE-TRUST was set up as a part of a global action in favor of the child, education and schooling for Rwandan children, adolescents and young adults who live in the Southern Province of Rwanda. An ordinary woman,  Ahozereye Cecile, who passed away on 22 January 2020, aged 104, has decided to leave the family assets to the community, especially to ACAPE, an association that has been working directly with local communities, local authorities. ACAPE TRUST seeks to build a better future for every child in rural areas by supporting them while they are at school. Mrs. Cecile Ahozereye left the legacy to her last-born son, a journalist, and her grandchildren, to continue to water the tree she has planted to shade the underprivileged children of Nyumba district in the Southern Province of Rwanda.
